so, who even am i?
I'm Skylar. I'm 18, I'm a sophomore at a state school I won't name (they haven't sponsored me yet), and I have a dorm room that is 40% books, 30% thrifted clothes, and 30% a mattress I'm pretty sure is older than me.
The thing most people find me for is Bloodlines — a 20-book vampire saga I started writing in a high school notebook. Seven are out. It's got about a hundred characters, four ruling families, one very cursed city, and a body count I've stopped apologizing for. Think big fantasy politics, but the vampires text each other.
When I'm not writing, I'm recording songs on a laptop with a cracked corner at hours that would upset my RA. The music is bedroom-pop by day and darker, moodier stuff for the books at night. It's all here, and it's all free to listen to.
Everything else on this site is just… my life. Thrift hauls, drugstore skincare that actually works, making a shoebox dorm feel like a home, surviving finals week on ramen and vibes. I'm not rich and I'm not pretending to be — if I recommend something, it's because I bought it with my own money and I'd buy it again.
